La Maton Classic es una continuación del anterior modelo CS Classic. La guitarra se ha reelaborado para aprovechar al máximo las propiedades tonales del abeto europeo y el palisandro de la India.
Como en todos los modelos Masterbuilt, el entorchado corresponde al material de la tapa armónica y cada tapa armónica está calzada, perfilada y festoneada para conseguir las respuestas tonales y mecánicas que buscamos en este instrumento.
